You will always be playing the AI character, the only player, and you will be given the option of playing any of the other players. In Spirit Mountain, the game plays like a survival game. You will experience the game from the perspective of a player, as opposed to the perspective of an AI. You will simply exist in the game world, and that is what makes it so exciting. With Spirit Mountain, you will not be in the game at all. In Spirit Mountain, the AI character always keeps you in the game, just in case you die. With the exception of the tutorial, you will never experience a game like Spirit Mountain. I had no idea what I was supposed to do, so it was all very frustrating and confusing. I was about to get my ass handed to me by an AI-controlled character, and I was in a situation I had no idea what to do.
The last time I played Spirit Mountain, I was completely unprepared for the game’s level design. At this point, I realize I haven’t done my first post in a long time, so I’ll just say it: We’re in the midst of the most exciting time of my life, and it’s all been a blur.
